The carpet had quite a strong bristly feel to it with a woven backing. It was hard wearing and lasted well. It was discontinued in the mid 1960's and is no longer available at all. We are offering a modern nylon automotive carpet we have specially made in Yorkshire, that to all intent and purposes looks the same from about 6 feet away! From the diagram here
