Victorian Oak & Iron Lectern, c.1850 Locking Traditionally stuffed and well sprungOur Stock # LFA 1310 This is an antique, Victorian oak and iron lectern dating to the time of the Great Exhibition, c. 1851. Standing upon a magnificent cast iron base of leaf and foliate detail in deep relief, the tapered, barrel turned support exhibits fine quality, great colour and a desirable aged patina. The stem located through the iron base and held tightly by a large wooden nut. The generously sized, lipped surface is in fixed position and at
