This vivacious 1960's silk cerise pink short-sleeved dress is by Parisian boutique label Jacques and is in very good to excellent vintage condition with no issues

rayon crepe dress was designed in the 1940s

The bodice is embellished at the reverse with 2 x wide ribbon straps in matching fabric which are stitched between the shoulder blades and meet at the zip with hook and eye fastenings

with soft inwards pleating below the neckline and a pretty row of 5 fabric covered buttons at the centre bust

and flares very slightly from a neat high waisted band

In reverse, the satin sleeves have a tulle lace underlay with cuffed sleeves and popper fastenings. Across the front and back is a swaggered satin ribbon effect, a fantastic tasselled fringe at the base and a beaded sequin appliqu on the bottom left hand side. BUST 36 in. (91. 44 cm)
