The planter is in fully original condition with its original cream paint and original tin liner

it has a thick oak plank top which sits on twin pillared legs and sledge feet

in good solid condition with some age related wear you would expect to find from an antique school cupboard

The table dates to the 1940/50’s and was recently purchased privately from the Lake District and the quality and style points towards one of the quality workshops from the area such as Arthur Simpson of Kendal
