Octomore 16.2 Bordeaux Madeira Moscatel Matured 58.1% 70cl Campbeltown sweet vanilla and fudgeA sibling to 16. 1, the 16. 2 release uses the same Scottish mainland Concerto barley peated to 101. 4ppm, but instead of bourbon it has matured in a rich mix of Oloroso and Bordeaux casks before being finished in Madeira and Moscatel. Bottled at 58. 1% ABV, it shows how cask influence can transform the Octomore character into something richly layered and indulgent.
