I envisioned the whole thing looking like a pulp noir poster

I added a few other clues to my intentions with the compass pointing due south and the motion of the ocean

This art was colored entirely by using the original MacPaint swatches from 1984. I considered creating the entire piece of art in that program but didn't want the pixelation to be visible everywhere. Instead, I recreated all the swatches and used them throughout the art. As the years go by I've learned to trust my instincts
