A huge vessel like form with a shallow, flattened profile, sculpted from a single piece of oak. This is a beautifully tactile work of art with bands of hand tooled ridges forming irregular ripples. Each stroke of the sculptors tools leaves a visible impression, a wonderful expression of the craftsmanship and intuitive process within this piece. The oak is limed and scorched,
