Sculpted from wood the facial part of the sculpture is adorned with brass copper strips and almost resembles the head of a Cobra snake which is referred to by Europeans as the naja. Renowned artists such as Pablo Picaso, Fernand Leger, Paul Klee, Alfred Stieglitz, Alberto Giacometti and Ernest Mancoba drew inspiration in the early 20th century from Kota art. These
