These capping are made to the original VW concept utilising a vacuum formed outer skin a very hard foam moulded inner section with a piece of strengthening hard board incorporated in the foam

a flat screwdriver and some contact adhesive are the only items you require to fit this set

MKI FRONT SEAT BASE COVER - STITCHED TYPE 1967-70 MKII Newton Commercial Part No –The MKI Mini used a variety of trim designs before design and production methods became standardised. The stitched flutes on the cover do not run all the way to the front of the skirt and have the distinctive roll under the knees as pictured. The flutes on the sewn covers are wider than the later welded style. We would suggest that you strip one seat first to see exactly how it is fitted then assemble the diaphragms and foams and then fit the covers
