I took this photo while exploring coastal Baja

Much more mesmerizing were the waves and sunrise

which has achieved the most fame

just past the bridge leaving Port Alberni on the riverbend

A Special Place Type:Float Frame Canvas Being right on the sideThe first time I drove into this area was at sunset, and the colors struck me right away. I felt like Id never seen anything like them before. They were normal but had different tones than usual. The sand dunes, rock formations, animals, and east facing offshores were also slightly different from what I was accustomed to, creating a foreign, other world like effect. I like this area because it's unique, but the waves make it a very special place too.
