日本の春夏に適したドライタッチで清涼感のあるCOTTON100%の裏毛素材です。 太番手の糸を使用して度目を極限まで詰め、生地の張り感が強く出るように編み立てました。 裏糸には有色綿の第一人者である生物学者のサリー・フォックスがアメリカで大切に育てているFOX B(茶綿)とFOX G(グリーン綿)のオーガニックコットンを使用しています。 FOX B(茶綿)とは機械で糸にできないくらい太く短い茶綿を、スーピマコットンやシーアイランドコットンと交配させ、機械で紡績できるように品種改良した茶綿です。 茶色はタンニンによるもので、綿花は害虫に強く、有機肥料だけでも充分生育します。 FOX G(グリーン綿)とは茶綿を改良する過程で、突然変異で誕生したグリーン綿です 茶綿と茶綿を掛け合わせたところ、たった2つだけ他とは違うコットンボールが出現したそうです。それらの繊維は細く滑らかで、美しい緑色をしていたことから「シーグリーン」と名付けられました。 裏糸は通常より短めにすることで、汗をかいても肌離れが良く快適に着用して頂けます。
