The waist nips in and it has fantastic side peplums made of fabric layered atop each other The skirt of the coat is cut to appear fairly straight at the front but all those vertical panels of fabric gradually widen as they near the hem so as soon as you move you get the feeling of fullness and swing

Note that it is very tiny and would not fit on any of my mannequins hence the hanger presentation

I love the decorative use of buttons on this one - it gives the illusion of a crossed over dress
