The reverse bears the classic KPM marks: the underglaze blue sceptre and the red orb mark

all of which can be easily repaired

The decoration features an elegant Rococo cartouche with the Prussian eagle and the historic cipher “FR – Friedrich Rex” beneath the royal crown

This protected it from dirt, dust or wetness. Signs of age and wear. For me it is always a wonder that these small everyday items have survived 150 years. Length: ~ 18 cm
