Scented was well as bright and cheerful this alpine has a prostrate woody framework clothed in narrow green leaves, above which stand short stems of 15 25cm of lemon yellow flowers. It spreads slowly and seeds itself too. Good to trim. Try it in a dry sunny border edge or rock garden and trough. Very petite all round in comparison to all the bred varieties.
