The front has this same gathered effect that allows you to adjust how it falls and closes with matching silk fabric covered buttons at the center chest

There are hidden fabric covered snaps at the front and the attached fabric tie belt goes around the waist

The top is cut loose with a hog neck and wide shoulders that softly form a small suggestion of a sleeve

There is no label present (this was not uncommon in the earlier pieces) but I have had it verified by the senior curator at the Royal Ontario Museum and guarantee it to be a Fortuny
