This species has the designation of ‘km 85’ which refers to the locality in Oaxaca where it was found so we keep this on the labels for reference
When we first found this plant it was growing in amongst a colony of Neoglaziovia variegata in the caatinga of Bahia
The base color is green with ¾ inch wide ivory margins and dark red concentric banding
