The seam that runs up the centre splits open about midway down and is kept in place with two large buttons

The top has a faux wrap neckline and no seams at the shoulder so it sits very prettily

The set comes with its original belt that has an unusual finish of a flexible holograph strip on the front of it

None of this detracts and I am being very picky

Late 1960s Lanvin by Jules-Francois Crahay Blue Metallic Silk Dress w Bow Detailing designer-hanae-mori The seam that runs upThis dress was designed by Belgian born Jules Francois Crahay, who headed the Lanvin ateliers from 1964 1984. He has been noted as one of fashions 'great colorists with his colorful patterns making his 1970s Lanvin designs hugely desirable and influential.' His time at the Lanvin label is one of my personal favourites for the house. I especially love the his work during the period through the late sixties and into the early 1970s. He was a genius at
