It is made of a mesh knit that has a bit of a metallic feel to it even though it does not have metallic thread in it it is from the fabric it is made of and this would have been cutting edge in the late 1990s. It is two pieces the inner most piece is a tiny tank dress that hits just above the belly button. Over that is layered a cropped cardigan that ties at the front I love the
