Mgmt stressed the importance of elements relating to New Orleans early on in the process and the gator was the first piece I drew

and I thought a film noir vibe would be an interesting way to represent the band’s stay in Vegas

I bought samples awhile back of literally every tee on the market and determined that this particular one fits and feels best

For this print I wanted to camouflage him as a part of this murky planet using leaves

I wanted my piece to reflect the duality of human nature that is ever present in the novel, thus the stylized yin yang. I cant read this book without thinking of the film Apocalypse Now, which was based on this novel and therefore I wanted an image that could represent both.
