Hallmarked to the underside for London 1776 by Augustin Le Sage and on the cover rim by the maker and the lion passant

Features a raised gadrooned rim and stag crest

There has been a repair where the silver part of the stem joins the bowl and this is shown in the last photo

Of shaped, rectangular, form with gadrooned detail and a naturalistic removable handle. Marked for J. Dixon & Sons of Sheffield, circa 1835. In very good original condition with a small loss of silver wire to one corner of the cover, as per the 3rd and last photos. The dish has scratches to the interior and underside commensurate with age and use. Free of dents and creases, the item has not been
