Traditionally Ripasso wines were refermented on the skins of Amarone, but this is a modern version, refermenting the wine with the dried grapes giving a lot more body and depth. This wine is delicious, powerful and rich. Loads of chocolate, black cherries, vanilla and then bitter dark cocoa nib flavours on the end. A delight.
