The flowers are very attractive waxy pink bells which hang from the stems and are a focal point in the garden when in full flower in summer. It doesnt take much care once established and will grow in shade quite well. It is from the Azores but is remarkably hardy. I have had two cosseted under shelter for years, but recently discovered the seedlings
