1102415 - Crankshaft Oil Seal – Front C-Brake Shoe Anchor Plate This pipe connects to theFront Crankshaft Oil Seal seated in the engine front (timing) cover, sealing the crankshaft nose where it exits the crankcase. The seal runs against the rotating crankshaft snout behind the crankshaft pulley and vibration damper, retaining engine oil at the front of the block and keeping dirt out of the front cover and timing drive. Used on TDV6, SDV6 and TDV8 diesel engine configurations.
