Machining Workshop overcast Cement Mill Conveyor at KandosThe workshop floor runs the full length of the building, bare concrete under steel roof trusses, whitewashed brick walls catching light from clerestory windows above. Tall timber doors line the far end. One of several industrial structures within the Commonwealth Portland Cement Company works at Portland, NSW, the precinct produced cement from 1902 until November 1991 and is listed on the NSW State Heritage Register.
