Description

This is a reproduction of the oldest sampler in my collection - Both the model and original have a soft color scheme

This sampler has beautiful rose dividing bands and a sweet verse

The model has an optional decorative stitch around the outside edge but is not part of the original chart/sampler

a fun drum finish but could also be framed or turned into a pillow

The back of the pincushion is an adaptation I made using a Quaker alphabet from an Ackworth sampler I own - I also added part of the floral border to the back to match the front

William Booth 1831 This is a reproduction ofA rare sampler indeed! This sampler is both an American sampler and one stitched by a young boy named William. The verse is such a reminder to stitchers that we do hope someone saves our work fun stitch using only straight cross stitches.
