Next to him is an object not sure what it is, but these marchers were usually photographed with parade torches. This could be a modified torch, a flag, or possibly some type of ballot box? Whatever the case it's not something commonly seen in these images. The tintype is about 3. 5" x 2. 5" and in very good or better antique condition with a few minor scuffs. Boxed shipping.
