His elbow is resting on the table next to him that is draped with some sort of banner or blanket with primitive art on it.. I see a large eagle, a stag, an apple, maybe another bird, and what looks like a man with a walking stick. Also, "Co. A". Very interesting!** My close up pic is mirrored so you can read it. Dag is sharp, not grainy. In full
