John Duval - Plexus Proprietary Red Barossa Valley 2006 (750ml) Vinifera 5% Cabernet FrancCritical Acclaim 93 points Wine Advocate Blended of 52% Shiraz, 30% Grenache and 18% Mourvedre, 2006 Plexus displays pronounced notes of blackberries, blueberries, dark chocolate, game, earth, licorice and allspice. A black cherry character really comes through on the palate, supported by crisp acid and a firm level of finely grained tannins. The finish is long and opulently fruited.
