PRUSSIAN 1869 PICKELHAUBE, HANOVARIAN INFANTRY REGIMENT NO.74 Entries from 11th February 1944A pickelhaube worn in the Franco Prussian War, a scarce model in good condition, unit stamped on the rear peak J. R. 74 FB (Fusilier Battalion). The larger early Prussian eagle brass helmet plate, brass chin scales secured by steel screw bolts, with its very scarce original wood painted cockade. Black leather 9 tongued liner, all complete with its original drawstring. The helmet fittings have been cleaned. Ref; 87207 XAB
