A blend of 65% Cabernet Franc and 35% Merlot, this is ever so refined and controlled. Noble aromas of graphite, flowers, blood orange and Asian spices emerge reluctantly from the glass. This is introspective and coiled but harbours a wine of real stature and class. Layers of complex fruit mingle with touches of mint and shaved dark chocolate. There's a wonderful satin texture, silky and sleek and unhurried.
