Electrical Workshop pipe The building on the cornerArched brick walls and steel roof trusses define the former electrical workshop at Portland Cement Works, where corrugated iron still spans the bays and dormant fluorescent fittings hang from the structure overhead. Light falls through an open timber door onto a bare concrete floor. The Commonwealth Portland Cement Company built this precinct from 1902, and it produced cement here until November 1991. Part of the Portland Cement Works series.
