Maple Burl #2356 rustic bowl The natural wood grains provideEach carved burl is a unique piece. When carving, we strive to follow the naturally grown exterior form to achieve a balance between the natural exterior and our smooth carved interior. 15" L x 12" W x 7. 5" H We buried this burl in the ground under wood shavings to age and darken. Once aged to our satisfaction, we carve, dry, sand and finish the burl over the course of a month.
