Mandatory components of the Womens Enlisted Service Dress Uniform include: Women's Service Dress Coat (with chevrons) Womens Blue Blouse Women's slacks (straight-hanging with front and back waist darts) Blue skirt (optional, hosiery required) Blue inverted-V tie tab (polyester herringbone) Blue belt (cotton web or elastic), silver tip and buckle Black dress shoes (Dress boots, pumps, slip-ons optional) Nametag and US lapel insignia Chaplain, Aeronautical and Space badges are mandatory Womens Enlisted Service Dress Uniforms feature the same basic construction as the uniforms worn by Air Force Officers, but lack the epaulets on the shoulders (for placement of pin-on rank insignia) and sleeve stripes on the slacks (one-and-a-half inches wide for General, a half-inch wide for all other Officers)
