We were thrilled to find French editorials showcasing very similar creations from the same year. Our gown is fashioned in a luxurious mid-weight ecru ivory silk-brocade with the most stunning silver floral motif. The bodice has an intricate boned bustier structure to keep the dress perfectly in place. My favorite design element is the duel-bow trimmed attached cape backside. It really looks sensational with movement. In 2018, Assouline published a book by Jerome Hanover, 'Bohans Dior: 1961 to 1989.' where he explains, "you see Bohan everywhere. You see his work in Prada, Raf Simons, Herms. I think it will help fashion to remember that Marc Bohan really designed the 60s.
