The palate is now full and satisfying – and exceedingly tasty – Liquorice Allsorts and Peshwari naan (sweet

paint and glue but was definitely dominated by expansive sweetness – spun sugar

The sweetness on the palate now carried a zingy character as tart raspberries merged with lemon sherbet and rhubarb mixed with caramel wafer biscuits and earl grey tea

Cask No. 96.43 26 – 30 years With water like a spicedThe neat nose on this one veritably bristled with raisins, cardboard, teak oil, five spice, fig jam and hot cross buns. Beyond that, we also noted cinnamon buns, pipe tobacco and hints of old dry sherry. Water brought pear drops, ripe pineapple, fuzzy peaches, toasted sourdough bread and light olive oil.
