奄美大島は「肥後染色」さんにお願いし、ごく少数で作成した直営店舗限定の泥染めシリーズです。職人が一枚一枚染めていく様は、どこか神秘的でもあり、絶やさずにずっと続いてほしい日本の文化だと強く感じます。製品はやや硬く、手触りも少し強めですが、泥の粒子感をより感じてもらいたく、仕上げの柔軟化工は省いています。あなたの手であなただけの一着に仕上げていってください。

Organic vintage tenjiku

不要になった、もしくは余剰の素材を粉砕して綿から糸に戻す反毛の技術、これを応用して14番×14番の薄手のデニムを新たに開発しました。経糸は杢グレーの糸をロープ染色し、緯糸は杢グレーそのままの色で織りたてました。その心は60年代の海兵隊員用デニムの解析で、ジニングしきれない緯糸がややくすんでいたことにあります。ただ、製品をレプリカにすることなくフィルメランジェらしい味付け、組み合わせを手助けしてくれるような品番を作成しました。
